MuffleTimber Acoustic Wood Panel - Sapelli (Black Felt)

Materials

None of our acoustic timber panels contain any harmful chemicals or materials. We always source high-quality products that are gentle on the environment, your health, and your wellbeing - these acoustic wooden panels are no exception.

The base of our wooden slatted panels consists of 9mm thick black felt made from up to 40% recycled plastic bottles. The material is certified in accordance with the requirements of Global Recycle Standards, it contains no chemicals or substances that are harmful to health such as formaldehyde or pentachlorophenol.

The wooden slatted panels are 12mm thick and made from MDF / Plywood strips that are finished with veneer. The slats are 2400mm high x 27mm wide and 13mm apart.

If required, our acoustic timber panels can be trimmed to size using a saw if the wall/ceiling is less than 2400mm.

The maximum tolerance in the panel dimensions is +/- 1 mm.

Installation

The panels are installed using screws which makes installation not only fast but also simple. For installations aiming to align slats end-to-end seamlessly, we highly recommend maintaining a 3-5mm shadow gap, whether for walls or ceilings.
